Designed to comply with RCD "offshore" category  B and be capable of meeting workboat requirements with little modification the Pilothouse 24 is a fine sea boat capable of serious passage making.

The wide beamed hull features convex panels with fine sections forward developing into a moderate deadrise V aft: this results in a boat that is easy to drive, stable in following seas and capable of maintaining comfortable 12-14 knot cruising speeds in difficult conditions. The open plan interior combines curved angle bulkheads and fresh modern fabrics to create a spacious airy feel. The forward cabin opens into the wheelhouse with the toilet compartment on the starboard side and a useful hanging locker opposite. Alloy framed windows toughened glass windows give a commanding view from the helm position as well as letting in plenty of light. there are plenty of chunky stainless steel grab handles below and a fold up and slide away co pilot seat enables the galley to be used underway as well as being great for entertaining in the harbour. On deck the fully moulded cockpit lockers, safe high coamings all around and large scuppers to ensure rapid self draining; there is easy access to the wide safe side decks which have 'angled-in' toe rails for added security. A wide range of factory fitted options are available including stanchions and guardwires, hot water supply and shower, ducted heating system and a variety of cockpit covers and canopies. The Pilot House 24 combines tough durable construction, the Nelson pedigree and comfortable usable weekend accommodation, making it a lot more than "just a boat to fish from"!
