The Vanguard 170, easily trailered behind a family car and with space enough for the family, friends and gear. The Nelson influenced hull with its deep forefoot and modified V sections ensures a dry comfortable ride whilst the easily driven lines provide impressive and economical performance.

26" interior freeboard, inset coamings, built in buoyancy, self draining cockpit and 'big boat' stability provide the security to run offshore whilst beamy aft sections and shallow draft make for easy launching and enable the fun of exploring shallow creeks and estuaries.

Strong stainless steel cleats and fairleads are among the many practical seamanlike features as are convenient storage lockers, vented underfloor fuel locker with gas strutted lid and a dedicated battery compartment. There are custom accessories including the option of a folding dodger or GRP cuddy, handrails, aft seats and more.
